Hair Studio Policies

Welcome to our hair studio! Our goal is to provide high-quality services in a professional and respectful environment. By booking an appointment, you agree to the following policies:

1. Appointments & Cancellations:

Cancellations / Rescheduling: We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This helps us offer your slot to another client. Late Cancellations: Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a fee of up to 50% of the service cost. No-Shows: If you miss your appointment without notifying us, your deposit will be retained. Late Arrivals: If you’re running more than 15 minutes late, we may need to shorten your service or reschedule, depending on the timing.

2. Service Expectations & Refunds:

We want you to leave happy! If you have any concerns about your service, please let us know within 48 hours. Complimentary adjustments (for the same style/treatment) are offered once within this period. Please note, style changes or a new service will incur a charge. Refunds: As services are based on time, skill, and product used, we do not offer refunds. We encourage clear communication at consultations to ensure we meet your expectations.

3. Deposits & Payments:

A non-refundable deposit (typically 25% of the service cost) may be required for longer or higher-value appointments. This will go towards your final bill. We accept cash, debit/credit cards, and digital payments. Prices may change at any time; confirmed quotes apply only to booked services.

4. Hair & Scalp Health Disclaimer:

A mandatory skin/patch test is required at least 48 hours before any chemical service (e.g. colour). This is for your safety and is non-negotiable. Please inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or previous treatments. We are not responsible for adverse reactions if this information is withheld. We may decline or adapt services if we believe a treatment could compromise the health of your hair or scalp.

5. Personal Conduct & Behavior:

We are committed to providing a friendly, respectful environment for all. We will not tolerate disruptive, disrespectful, or abusive behaviour. If you arrive under the influence of drugs or alcohol, your appointment will be cancelled and your deposit retained.

6. Children & Guests:

Children and guests are welcome, but please let us know in advance so we can make suitable arrangements for their comfort and safety. We kindly ask that all guests are supervised at all times.

7. Liability Waiver:

Please wear suitable clothing — we cannot take responsibility for accidental damage to personal items during your appointment.

8. Photography & Marketing:

We sometimes take photos of your finished style for our portfolio or social media. If you’d prefer not to be photographed, just let us know — we’ll always respect your wishes.

9. Confidentiality & Privacy:

We take your privacy seriously. Any personal information you share (e.g., name, contact details, patch test records) is stored securely, used only for your appointments and salon-related communication, and never shared with third parties for marketing without your consent.
